Iconic Water Lilies Mean Summers at the Lake
I am obsessed with the water lilies growing in our bay. They drift on the surface of the water, moving at the will of the waves and breeze. Their color seems to shift in the light. Yet their shape is strongly graphic, and they are firmly rooted deep below.
Did you know I have a whole series of prints riffing on this one graphic theme? The colors range from a deep blue to a leafy green, with a couple of black and white prints in the series as well.
