This past weekend the first little green leaves started to poke through in the garden, and I did a little happy dance. Crocuses always seem insanely optimistic, and I'm always SO glad to see them. They shoulder up through the snow, or peek through a layer of dried leaves, bravely announcing that the visual bounty of spring and summer is on its way.
