Echoes of Songs

All of my work draws from my close observations of our physical world.

In these paintings, lines and shapes distilled from echoes in sound and water are abstracted and become a visual language for exploring our stories.

Using brushstrokes, drawing and glazes, I create complex interactions of marks on the surface, reflecting our interactions with each other and our world. Slowly each painting accumulates meaning, narrative and beauty. My hope is that the longer the viewer lingers over each painting the more resonances they may find with the songs and echoes in their own lives
