Past Year, New Year, & New Work Coming

It’s that time of year again—when we pause to review the year that has passed and look forward to what’s to come.

Looking back at 2019, I am once again filled with gratitude for the people and good fortune that the universe has shared with me.

Of course, every year is filled with challenges both large and small, and 2019 was no exception, but making art, and connecting with so many other people who share my love of the visual brought joy and knowledge every day.

I am incredibly fortunate to have the time and space to explore and grow as an artist. In 2019, I created new paintings and new prints, had my first solo show, and stepped out from behind the Household Art curtain to rebrand as well, me. Working as an artist, I have continued to meet and learn from so many talented and passionate people. I am humbled by your support.

The image above draws from some highlight moments on Instagram—meeting people, making art, and seeing it on other’s walls.

As we move into 2020, I am working on new paintings, which I will be showing at The Artist Project, Booth 1033, February 20-23, 2020.

I’m sharing process photos of some of the work in progress on Instagram, so follow along with me there (@janettaylorart).

Thank you all for your enormous support. I can’t wait to connect with you in 2020!

PS. Join my Collectors Circle to preview (and shop) the finished paintings before they go to the show, and mark your calendar to come see these new paintings in person.
