I’ve spent the last couple of months indulging my obsession with waterlilies and lily ponds. The shapes of the leaves is just SO graphic, and yet natural at the same time. The leaves shift constantly on the surface of the water, sometimes closer, sometimes further apart, twisting slightly on their stems, the pattern spreading and coalescing like a beautiful romantic slow dance.
The result of this indulgence is a new series of prints that riffs on graphic leaves, blue water and the green dance of a plant that emerges from the deep to share it’s beauty with the world.
Real-life waterlilies will be dormant soon, but you can put their striking shapes and vibrant colours on your wall to carry you through the pale light of winter.
